The win condition for this game is to accurately appraise 10 relics.  If you miss 3, it's game over.

As a fan of puzzling out stuff the concept is really cool and it works really well! The music is also really nice and fits perfectly.
I noticed a bug where clicking on the book to check the current job changes the item, I don't think thats intentional.
Other than that, really nice job! I hope you expand on the concept!

I think it's a very cool concept, simple and neat designs and clear instructions! Perhaps if you'd still like to work on it, I would suggest that the difficulty pacing could be worked on, as having 8 elements might be too hard for a beginner. Maybe have an easy mode where there are only 4 or 5 elements to play around with. But overall, I like it and it fits the theme really well. Glad to hear that you've learnt a lot :)

This was my first pixel-art creation for another game, a terrible looking Opossum that just moves back and forth.  He doesn't do anything.  If I were going to polish this game, I'd prob take him out or move him somewhere else.  :''']
